Introduction
Keno is a popular lottery game that is available with all of the larger casino softwares. The game is one of the worst bets in the casino, with a house edge that varies from ~4% with Net Ent Jungle Keno to ~30% with Boss Media Keno. Like state lotteries, the chance of winning as much as $100,000 with a $1 bet can be appealing.
Rules and Play
The player is given a ticket with 80 numbers on it. He picks 1 to 15 numbers on the ticket. 20 winning numbers are selected randomly. The more of the player's picks that are selected, the bigger the payout.
Strategy
The are no strategy decisions in keno. All numbers have an equal chance of being selected. Optimal strategy is simply choosing the number of picks with the lowest house edge.
